Day 2 Verified Scores - It WAS a competition day!
Owing to the fact that two pilots (Garth & Adriaan), or 33% of the field, made it past the minimum scoring distance (80km), it WAS a competition day, albeit significantly devalued.
See the results (Overall and D2) in the sidebar for the detailed scores, but full marks to Garth & Adriaan for perseverance - so nice when it pays off!
This was a day when two top pilots (Sven & Cornelius) landed out early (in a field previously 'tested' by X32) and this may have influenced the other pilots in not competing to the fullest extent, as they all landed back well before the appointed hour without attempting the bonus turnpoint. Just goes to show - it's not over until it's over.
