Outlook 4th March: Ballistic.
A brief preview for Saturday (as it looks at the moment)from the Weather Lore Master (EY) - if you find reading a trial, here is a picture:
SE surface wind at 20kph to 7000ft increasing thereafter to S 40 at 10000ft and 60 at 15000ft All blue Surface temperature 20C, with a dewpoint of -1C !!! Trigger at 17C Expect 1,5 - 2,0m/s to 7100ft
If we get to the predicted 27C, THEN 2,1m/s to 2,9m/s to 10000ft
So if you want to experience flying in good SE conditions, then Saturday will be the day!!!
PS I will have the computer to do upgrades to FLARM 3 at the clubhouse prior to the briefing So please bring your flarm unit before hand (I expect the contest director not to offer you a launch if you have not upgraded)
